Buses in Tsukuba will run on a Weekend/Holiday schedule.

Buses listed below will not be in service:
– Tsukuba Mountain Shuttle Bus (departing from Tsukuba Center)
– Tsukuba Mountain Entrance – Tsutsujigaoka (departing from Tsukuba Mountain)
– Arakawaoki Sta East Exit – Premium Outlets in Ami


Two special buses can be used:

ROUTE1
Tsuchiura Sta East Exit – Arakawaoki Sta East Exit – Hitachi no Ushiku Sta East Exit – Ushiku Sta East Exit – Toride Sta West Exit

Schedule:
Every 30 min from Tsuchiura Sta East Exit, from 6:30 to 20:00
Every 30 min from Toride Sta West Exit, from 7:30 to 20:00

Price:
1,000 yen from Tsuchiura, 800yen from Arakawaoki, 600 from Hitachi no Ushiku and Ushiku

ROUTE2
Tsukuba TX Sta (Bus stop 8) – Mito Sta South Exit

Schhdule:
Every hour from 7:00 am to 18:00 from Tsukuba TX Sta
Every hour from 6:00 am to 18:00 from Mito Sta South Exit

Price:
1,000 yen


Tsukuba University – Tokyo Buses: running on weekday schedule, night buses too are running.
Tsuchiura / Tsukuba – Narita: running on weekday schedule (reservations needed)
Tsukuba – Ibaraki Airport: from Tsukuba Center departs at 8:30 and 15:20; from Ibaraki Airport at 10:15 and 19:00.
Tsukuba – Mito: route is slightly modified around Mito Prefectural Government building
Tsukuba Center – Haneda: running on weekday schedule

The TsukuBus is running as usual, but due to roads conditions, some route modifications exist.


JR BUS:
18th of MARCH

Buses on “Mito” Line: all buses will go via the Ibaraki Prefectural Government Office

Buses using the Tohoku Highway are not in service due to damage on the highway.

17th of MARCH

Buses to Tsukuba from Tokyo will run as normal on the 17th of March.

Except for buses departing at times written below, buses to Mito will run as normal on 17th.
Suspended services:
Tokyo Sta departure: 14:20、17:10、18:30、20:20、20:50
Mito Sta departure: 7:20、8:10、9:20、14:00、15:00
